While some fans opined on implications, including match-fixing concerns, the video remains unverified. The franchise and the Indian Premier League officials haven’t reacted to the incident.
On the field, RR defeated RCB by six wickets in Guwahati. The Bengaluru-based franchise posted 201 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs, with captain Rajat Patidar posting 63 runs in 40 balls.
Chasing a big total, Rajasthan scored aggressively despite losing Jaiswal early. The highlight of the match was magnificent batting by Sooryavanshi, who accumulated 78 runs off 26 deliveries, completely putting the opposite number on the back foot. Although the Royals lost a few wickets in quick succession, Jurel kept the chase on track with a well-compiled 81 runs off 43 balls.
