Players With Most Player of the Match (POTM) Awards in T20


The following players repeatedly turned up and delivered when the match pressure was highest in the Men’s T20 World Cup.

The first name is no surprise, but it is none other than Virat Kohli, who has won it eight times, far ahead of his competitors. The second honour is shared by four players, each of whom has won it five times. The players are Adam Zampa and Shane Watson from Australia, Mahela Jayawardene from Sri Lanka, and Chris Gayle from the West Indies. 

However, when it comes to the average number of matches played for PoTM, Adam Zampa tops the list. He has won the PoTM award in 4.2 matches, while Virat Kohli has won it in 4.37 matches.
